It's a MRE, Folks!

Ok, so, I have a video for you. It's a little longer that I thought it would be..'bout 10 minutes. Sorry. It probably could have been cut even more, but I think the editor (my husband) thinks I am more entertaining than I actually am. :) He was super sweet do put it together for me, so I won't complain.

Anyways,I got my hands on one of those Meals Ready to Eat (MRE's). Thought I'd share it with you. So here ya go...my first Vlog.

ok...so are we SURE it's the m&m's causing the 'potty problems'? because i'm thinking a freeze dried box of food just might be the culprit. just a hunch. i'm no rocket scientist.

Yucky! I was so intrigued throughout the professional nature of your demonstration and then when you ripped that package open with your teeth - I had to laugh! I had never heard of MREs. Again, yuck. I think I'll stick with pretzels.

And to think we have fed these to our troops for years! Maybe we should give them to our enemies, it might bring quick surrender....JK.

I know! I was totally thinking of our soldiers having to eat those things. CRAZY! All the more reason to tip our hats.

Mandi...yeah, I'm not sure why the police officers were convinced it was the M&Ms. But you know, they are the detectives, so who am I to question? ;)

And just in case anyone was concerned...no potty problems here...and I ate all the M&Ms!

I had one of Jason's MRE's when he was in the Marines. It really wasn't bad... VERY filling because they are high in carbs and calories because sometimes they only get to eat once a day. He was telling me out in the field the crows used to eat the leftovers and were HUGE!!! :)From what I understand, they do indeed cause potty problems. ;)

This is hilarious! I've yet to try an MRE myself, but now I'm curious. Wes told me a long time ago that he can't stand Skittles because they came in MREs and that's all he had for dessert for a while. Then two weeks ago, I bought some fun size milk chocolate M&Ms and he told me he didn't like them either for the same reason... we've been married for almost four years and I just found that out. :P

You were right, this is very entertaining! I was completely mesmerized hahaha. You are a brave soul! I don't think I would have had the guts to try that, especially the squirty chocolate stuff. Ickyyyy :[

Erica, the use of the term "squirty chocolate stuff" was disgusting.

Well done.

This was hilarious! I was dying laughing because of all of the instructions...and I was thinking of those "weird food" shows on the travel channel when you were describing the taste and texture - enjoyed it!
