I hate to not finish a book, but I just couldn't get through Sinclair Lewis' Babbitt. I didn't care about the characters or the plot. So, last night, I gave it up and started reading this...
I snuggled up last night, while it was all cool and rainy and plowed through about half the book. It is amazing! And why did I select this beloved children's book, you ask?To get ready for this!

oh, fun. How did Marburger go? I am reading Wives and Daughters by Elizabeth Gaskell and so far thinking that tho' I enjoyed her Cranford book I loved the PBS Masterpiece special more. Enjoy your read
