I don't know about you, but whenever I'm trying to get something done in the kitchen, that's just when Braelyn is most desperate for my attention. Today, while I was putting dishes away, I had this little idea...and it worked pretty well!
I did have to scrub a bit with a little all-purpose cleaner, but now...all clean!
Now mom and toddler can be in the kitchen together...in harmony! :)
Any kitchen harmony tips you may have are quite welcome here! Just comment below!

betty is usually sitting up on the counter helping. or i save play-doh as an "open in case of emergency" toy, and only get it out at times when i really need them to sit down. it helps to have seating in the kitchen though. she probably feels banished to another room even sitting at the dining table. maybe you could fit in a little table for her? the spot where tucker's crate is would be perfect....
We have the fridge magnets by Leap Frog. They keep Cortie occupied for a bit.
This is a great idea! I only have one problem before implementing it....my fridge looks like preschool art papers threw up all over it from top to bottom. Oh and random lists and papers. Its somewhat embarrassing.
You have some of the neatest clutter-free fridge doors that I've ever seen! I secretly admire people with spotless refrigerators!
Great idea...have a blessed weekend...
oh! that is fun! and braelyn has such neat handwriting : )
my kids are usually helping- levi does cups and dylin does silverware (in the putting up of dishes dept.). if i'm cooking they're usually helping. i agree with brandi- it helps to have a table in the kitchen.
We're four weeks into it. Only two more to go! Can't wait to hang out with you at Round Top. I will start saving for it right now! (Or in three weeks when I first get paid.)
That's brilliant! Sure beats my method of "hey kids, I'm cooking so please come drag out every pot and pan i own and drag them all over the house"
