I Love...

...this precious souvenir that lives in my coat pocket.
In 2005, I went on a fabulous trip to London with the hubs. We went in the winter so I got this wool coat for the trip. Those little tickets in my pocket were our day passes for the Tube for one of the days we were there. Luckily, I didn't throw these two away and I discovered them in my coat pocket after we got home. Well, I just loved the reminder of our sweet time in London so there they've stayed these 6 years. Each fall, when it gets cold for the first time and I put on my coat, my hands inevitably make their way into my pockets and I find this little treasure. It makes me smile every time I feel them in my hands.

Sigh...

I loved that trip.

My oh, my Steph....this is too funny. We also went to London (first time for our family) over Thanksgiving break of 2005. And, I also bought a (black) coat for the trip...it. was. so. so. cold. during that trip, but oh, so. so. so. wonderful!...a year later, I put on the coat (I hadn't worn it after the trip, because it was heavier than I needed that winter in Texas) and voila, the tickets for our Tower of London tour and a receipt for our tube tickets were still in the pocket...now, I didn't save them like you did, but each winter I put the same coat on (rarely) I think of our London trip again..like I said so, so, funny.

Kacey Boagni has a little pair of Drew (or Tatum's - don't remember which) baby socks in her coat pockets. Same thing. They make her smile each winter so she's left them year after year.
I just always find kleenex. Not so warm fuzzy feeling inducing. More of an "ewww gross!" feeling. oh well.
