So...I Love a Couple More Things

I LOVE...
1. a GIVEAWAY! This giveaway will, without a doubt be the best giveaway you've ever seen!! Tons and tons of my favorite things. Okay...3 favorite things actually. The giveaway will include:

- an iTunes gift card (or amazon gift card) for $10 for you to purchase David Gray's Draw the Line album which I love and you will love too. I promise! It is AWESOME and is one of my very favorite things!
(Okay...so you don't really HAVE to buy this album with your gift card should you be the winner...but really...why would you not? That would be so foolish and is not even worth discussing further!)

- a couple of bath bombs from LUSH. These little babies are an explosion of luxury in your bath and a new favorite thing! My mom-in-law gave me some for Christmas and now my bath is not complete without one! So...really, I just need to get some more for myself, so I thought I'd toss a few into the giveaway while I was at it! :)

- finally, your gift will include a bag of Gummy Cokes. What?! They're delicious!
Justin Hyde is to blame for getting me hooked on these yummy gummies. When we were over at his house for New Year's Eve, he had a ginormous bag of gummy cokes and I...well...I probably ate my weight in gummy cokes. I think that officially earns them a spot on the favorite things list.
There ya go. That's the giveaway.
It's blowing your mind, isn't it?!

I LOVE...
2. my readers A LOT! and I especially love it when they comment!
What?! Don't look at me that way!

Yeah...this is a shameless attempt for comments. So what?!

If you have a blog you love comments, too! Don't try to deny it!

Anyways...now that I'm done being accused of begging for comments...I would like to ask you nicely to leave a comment. How else do you expect to win this super awesome giveaway, missy?

So, if you are a faithful reader of The Beautiful Meantime, or just an occasional reader, or heck, even if this is your first and last time to ever read my blog...to enter into the giveaway you must drop me a comment telling me something that you love.

Got it?

A comment about something you LOVE = A chance to win the most awesome giveaway that ever was!

You have till Friday to enter the giveaway. I'll choose a winner Saturday Mornin'! Good Luck!

And all joking aside...I really do appreciate you, readers! Thanks for letting me share my life with you. ;)

I love receiving calls from my children on Valentine's Day just to tell me they love me. I love all the new technology that allows me to not only talk to my children and grandchildren on the phone every day, numerous times, for as long as I want, but skype with them also and watch my grandchildren at play. I love, more than anything, being a mother, grandmother, and wife--the most rewarding and most important jobs I've ever had! (P.S. Your love blogs were so inspiring that I've been posting love posts for weeks. It feels so wonderful to talk about love!)

Aw. You are so thoughtful. I have enjoyed your "LOVE" posts. I so Love my Lord and Savior, and I Love my family. And I "love" myself sour straws, rapid lash, carmex in the tub, a warm wood stove fire in the winter, singing praise songs that grip me so much I have to close my eyes, sizzling bacon, and family game nights. I think yousaid one thing,go I better stop.

Steph, I love that when I read your post, I can hear your sweet voice in head, reading it aloud. It's been too long since we've seen you. Y'all need to come over for an evening of chicken pounding and conversation soon. Marie G.

This is not a shameless attempt to win your giveaway, but I really do love that so many long lost friends can be found through fb or blogs. I may be miles away but I can feel connected with friends' lives! I have loved that I found your blog and I have just started reading Praise Her In the Gates. And I love that after not really knowing each other that well and then not talking to each other for 6 years, we are both church planting! Craziness. Did you ever get my blog address bc you haven't commented :) pizzaicecream.blogspot.com

Stephanie,
I absolutely love that you love a couple more things...and in the beautiful meantime, I love the homemade Christmas card my 5 year old niece, Emma, made for my son two Christmas' ago. Though I am unable to post a pic for you, I'll do my best to paint you the picture: She managed to find every scrap of scrap paper available to her. First, she took a half cut piece of yellow constrcution paper and taped it to the top portion of a white sheet of cardstock. She then proceeded to draw 2 Christmas trees on on the sides with 5 presents made out of what looks like red, blue and green portions of a cereal box, or thick cardboard. The green one on the top has BW - for baby William. The most precious part though, her writing...

On the cover picture, "This is BaBy WiLLymas Ferst Chrismis LoVe, Yer cuzin Emma."

Then comes her personal note:
"Deer Baby Willyma
Yer cuzin Emma will Love, you untill I WiLL Diy And Love, you for Ever"

Sentiments, "Love, Emma"

She was so proud to give it to him! I'm pretty sure everyone within an ear's reach of me heard about the "Chrismis" card.

Steph, your so adorable .I love your sense of humor .what I love is the sweet sweet sounds of my grand children(15 of them) singing praise and worship songs. Sounds of little angel's singing about Jesus puts a warmth in my heart and a big smile on my face.
Thank you for sharing your blog.

First of all I love your husband, he was there for me when I needed someone the most during a really rough time. I remember him calling me after I got home from school to ask me how my day was, it was so sweet and thoughful- something I'll never forget. Second, you're pretty awesome yourself and I was SO sad when you and Casey left SLFUMC. I do follow your blog and LOVE your creativity. What I LOVE, lOVE LOVE the most, is baking...and ANYTHING to do with cupcakes. I was recently accepted into the Art Institute for Baking & Pastry, unfortunately because of my work schedule I don't think I will be able to enroll for a while. I have a Cupcake business called 'Cupcakes by Ashley' that I started in January of 09. I am so lucky and thankful for the amazing people in my life that have given me the chance to use my creativity and make beautiful pieces of art- that you can eat! Thank you for always being a positive influence and for sharing your life with us on your blog. Keep on doin your thing, we all LOVE it!

Oh my soul. You make me laugh...and I love keeping up with you via your blog. Also, I fully support shameless plugs for comments! What blogger does not secretly blog in hopes of having a thousand comments the next day?

And. I love Coke Zero. With chocolate. And silence. While my windows are open. Ahhhh.

Those Lush bath thingers are neat, but leave a nasty ring in the tub which is not so neat. If I win will you come clean my tub after I use it? Wait, that's gross. You can just send over a maid, ok?

I love...3:10pm on weekdays when my big girl comes bounding through the door and my baby girl giggles and giggles!!

I love...bright colors, Christmas music, the way my dogs muscles ripple when they run, chocolate cake with white icing, my baby's giggles, soft soft knits, swimming pools, photos of my people, snuggling with my husband, Oklahoma thunderstorms, summer camp, digging in the dirt, traveling, early morning coffee, OU, praying for people, pearls, seeing how long I can go before I have to wash my hair, laughing loudly...and you!

Steph, I do not love how long it took me to think of a comment for your giveaway! Gosh! I will tell you, the first thing I thought of was: I love how warm and contagious your spirited personality and joy in the LORD are! I also thought, I love Baz Luhrmann films, birds, dessert, tea in the afternoons, and my steadfast, patient husband. Love you! ♥

I love... YOU! :] Ha, but seriously. And your sweet family and having B as my flower girl. And living in your old apartment. And shopping with you. And that you got me hooked on white mochas. And that I know better than to call you if I don't have time for at least a 30 minute conversation (even if B isn't a fan of that!). And the fact that we got each other Anthropologie aprons for Christmas :] And a million, bajillion other things, but that's all I have time for right now!

Steph,
I'm glad to see that you love comments. I want you to know for some reason, your blog is the only one I comment on semi-regularly. You have that homey feel that isn't intimidating to overcomment on! :) Here are some things that I truely truley love and miss a lot... Your sweet family. You will never know what a blessing you guys have been in my life. I could not be where here today, doing what I'm doing without you guys. Thank you for loving on me over the past few months. Miss that a lot!
Some other things that I LOVE... discovering a new music artist... i may have to buy that CD anyway, just cause I'm curious! Currently one of my very favorite things is when I go hiking up in the mountains and hills in my backyard, and hear my name being shouted from far off. Having no idea who it is, but they shout "Nwèl!" and wave. That is my current favorite thing.

Glad you are doing this! I don't see it as a shamless way to get comments. I have a comment begging post coming up soon too! :)

I love David Gray too!
I'll have to check out this album.

I know what you mean about comments. The other day I told John "my butter post has had 139 page views and only ONE comment". Such a sad, sad life.

Hey Steph – I’m not a good commenter and didn’t realize how much I enjoyed them until I blogged about Jared needing a girl and got such a laugh out of those 24 comments! I usually don’t expect comments because there is a limit to how much people care to agree with me and and say yes, Max IS the cutest thing they’ve ever seen. :-) I love him and Brad so much I think my heart might pop. I love you and your blog, too.

I too love comments and your blog. So glad your doing a giveaway of your favorite things. I was just thinking of doing one myself. Gummy cokes...humm?

Steph,

I'm making this far too difficult. All I can think about is how much I love you and your adorable blog! And I love that you've inspired me to get back into blogging. And I love that you have now made it ok to do a give-away just because!

For real though, I love semi-sweet chocolate chips (it's a sick addiction I have) and the way Riley says "My pleasure!" and the way Josh so caringly seeks out my heart, even after a long day at work. And I love Jack's cuddles and my twin sister's timely and encouraging text messages.

Ok, I need to stop. I didn't mean to write a book on here. Most of these people don't even know me. Ha!

Hi friend! I'll leave a comment, if it makes you smile! My newest loves are: hearing Noah's noises coming from his room, seeing Ethan sneak over and give N a kiss while he's sleeping, and praying for the future wives of our sons. I also love Sonic vanilla Dr Peppers, our new video monitor, and the maid service we've hired for the next few months. :)

Ok, brace yourself....if I win..you can keep the gummy cokes. I was addicted to them in high school and college (along with the cherry chewies). They got me through many exam study hours, so I absolutely cannot eat another one ever. I tried a few years ago, and seriously though I'd be sick. Some can't return to a certain liquor after a hangover, for me, it's gummy cokes. Just think, if I win, it would be like we are BOTH winning. :)

I would just like to start by saying that I love reading your blog. I was in the youth group at Sugar Land Methodist with Casey and when he posted a comment about your blog almost a year ago, I was hooked!

I also love that distance doesn't matter with friends. My two best friends are in Oxford right now studying abroad and I have remained close to them despite the distance. :D

Those things in your giveaway would be the perfect pick me up! :)

I love the book "Praise Her in the Gates" that you wrote about. I love that it made me view my role as a housewife and mom so much differently. I love all of the little things that I was convicted of while reading the book. I love you for writing about it so that I could even hear of the book to be convicted. I love the new eyes and heart that I am viewing all of the "interruptions" that my kids bring to my life with.
