A Guilty Pleasure

I realize that many of you who are so kind to put a link to my blog on your blog may remove it after this post, but I just have to say it...I watch American Idol, and I like it...a lot. I haven't watched it in a couple of seasons, but I turned it on a couple of weeks ago and now I'm kinda hooked. Plus, I love watching it on tivo, cause I can just cruise on through without watching the commercials. Anyways, if you're bored on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, you should check it out! Here are my votes:

Just in case you're wondering...No, I don't actually vote, but I just might later in the game. :) Am I too old for this?

And speaking of voting...sad story. Casey and I went up to Blinn College today to exercise our right to vote. Casey assured me that we were registered in Washington County, but apparently we are not. So, there was no voting of any kind going on today for the Cease's :( I am so ashamed! We will be sure to get it together before November.

I, like all the others are hooked!! I really like your top two guys. It's funny that the guy that Simon likes the best didn't make anyone's list.

And of all the girls the one you picked was my favorite starting with her audition.

I'm a total idol groupie. I've been a fan for years. The guys are really impressing me this year. I don't have tivo anymore....sigh....tear drop.....sigh.

We don't even have cable so I'm stuck watching my all-time favorite show on the Fox salt & pepper channel. Have you heard of this one? It requires ginormous antennas on top of your t.v. and you are good to go!

Seriously. I like you even more now that you ARE an Idol fan.

I think we have another mutual friend also. Actually he knows your husband. Craig Weaver is a great friend of ours and also goes to our church. We go to his small group bible study on Wednesdays. He said he knew Casey. He is an uber talented drummer that used to play for Shane & Shane among many others.

I didn't mean for this to be the longest comment ever! Sorry! I just think it is cool you watch Idol!

david has already won...even if he doesn't. the rest of the guys are a little too feminine for me to get behind...I can't take it.

That David Cook is WOW!!! I think his rendition of 'Hello' was probably the best thing I've heard on the history of American Idol.

I suppose I am so literal (you may remember that about me) that I never watched American Idol, because of the word Idol. I know that is really stupid, but I have never watched it until I watched a 1 singer 2 weeks ago w/ my dad while he was in the hospital.

My mom handed me the biggest shocker a few weeks ago when she told me that *she* watches American Idol... Huh?!? It's the funniest thing to hear her talk about the different singers and Simon. So, if she's not too old, you definitely aren't! :D
